Angus Cloud lost his father and shared a heart-wrenching tribute on social media two weeks before the Euphoria actor’s tragic death at 25.

The American actor, who portrayed Fezco in the hit HBO series from 2019 to 2022, has sadly passed away at the age of 25. Angus died weeks after his father’s funeral and the heartbreaking news of the young actor’s was passing confirmed by his family on Monday.

Angus died at his family home in Oakland, California. His family issued a statement on Monday, July 31, and confirmed the tragic news of his passing.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” his family told TMZ. “As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

The statement continued: “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”

The heartbreaking news of the beloved Euphoria star’s passing comes weeks after Angus lost his father. He buried his father in Ireland and shared a tribute on his Instagram page on July 14.

In the grief-stricken tribute, Angus featured a picture of his dad in a red hoodie and shorts alongside the moving caption “miss u breh”.

Under the post, many fans shared their condolences to the actor and they now pay tributes and mourn the loss of the 25-year-old celebrity.

“I hope he was waiting for you at the gates! Rest easy both of you,” one Instagram user wrote. Another one said: “I hope they both rest easy. So sad.”

Tributes paid to Angus

Angus’ co-stars are mourning his tragic loss and many have paid their respects to the star, remembering him for his immense talent and kind personality.

His co-star Kathrine Narducci paid a tribute on Twitter and remembered the actor as a “gentle beautiful soul”.

In a poignant tribute, HBO and Euphoria said Angus was an “immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family”. “We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time,” the statement added.

The show’s creator Sam Levinson said in a separate statement shared with US outlets: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression.

“I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”
