Police are hunting down a supposed fan of Taylor Swift after they allegedly stole an Eras Tour film poster.
Cops in Tulsa have taken to Facebook to ask for the public’s help in catching the fan who went to the cinema to watch the acclaimed documentary movie in December. They took their love for Taylor Swift quite seriously and allegedly stole one of the 6’ x 4’ posters displayed in the theater to promote the showing. Police have called the act “a little extreme.”
A fan went a bit far and ‘stole a Taylor Swift Eras Tour poster’
Sharing a CCTV image of the man suspected of the wrongdoing, Tulsa cops penned they were worried about “the thousands of dollars” worth of damage to the poster frame. The grainy image shows a bearded man wearing a Billy Strings snapback and holding the printout in front of him.
The department said: “On 11/12/2023, the person in the photos, wearing a black “Billy Strings” cap entered the AMC Theatre at 8207 S Olympia Ave.
“The subject went to the Taylor Swift Concert movie then, on the way out, proceeds to steal a 6’ x 4’ poster outside the theater room. While this may seem relatively juvenile and benign, it caused thousands of dollars of damage to the poster frame.”

“Whether you love T. Swift or not, it’s not cool to destroy other people’s things and abscond with stuff that doesn’t belong to you.”
They concluded by giving a list of ways people can contact them about any information they might have about the crime.
Eras Tour sparks price hikes
The fan who allegedly stole the Taylor Swift Eras Tour poster might have foreseen the increase in prices where the music star is playing.
Sky News revealed the cities in which the celebrity, 34, is performing increased their prices. When she was in Australia, airlines and hotels were among some services to increase how much things cost. The broadcaster said it rose to four times the usual prices.
For example, a one-way ticket from Brisbane to Sydney usually costs $120, but now costs more than $400. One of the hotels, Novotel Sydney, increased their already eye-watering price from $700 to more than $1200. The hotel’s prices were for the nights on which the Shake It Off hit-maker was performing in the Aussie city.
